Just had to cancel my Grammerly Premium subscription. It's only $144 a year but that's a lot of money now that I'm "on a fixed income." I have several yearly subscriptions I'll be cancelling when they come due, and I have gone back to the basic or free subscriptions on several other services. I looked into my last paycheck & they took out insurance payments through 4/9/22 so I emailed the benefits office to complain. They said my policy expired on 3/31 & they were going to refund me the payments, which is at least something in my favor. They also said they DID mail COBRA paperwork but that it could take up to 2 weeks to get to me. ( Read more... )

Finally got around to binge-watching Downton Abbey. I actually found myself watching most of it rather than just listening to the script. I think their research department is to be applauded and I did like most of the characters. I think there were a few convenient deaths, but after all, it was a soap opera. I have awakened with what I can only describe with the cliche term "splitting headache." It seems to originate at the base of my skull but it's hurting all the way around the top of my head too.
